The 2026 season has begun – which means Axel’s Kitchen is once again serving delicious pizzas 🍕 and other delicious treats.
Our Italian chefs have arrived on Fanø and are looking forward to treating you to authentic Italian flavours.

During April we offer take away, and we expect to reopen the restaurant for dining around May 8th.

Axel's Kitchen is a child-friendly Italian restaurant on Fanø – and truly something special. Our talented chefs from Italy prepare delicious pizzas using high-quality ingredients from Italy and local products from Fanø.
Our menu is a paradise for pizza lovers – and we’re very happy to welcome to dine in the restaurant! In addition to the culinary delights, you’ll also find a large indoor playground where children can play while the adults enjoy their meal in peace.
Table reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is very popular – especially in the evenings.

Axel's Kitchen is a child-friendly Italian restaurant. On Fanø, you'll find the only eatery with a large indoor playland for children. We make our pizzas with quality ingredients from Fanø and Italy.
Table reservations may be necessary.

The chef's favorite is Formaggi e Noci with gorgonzola, smoked Scamorza, and freshly ground pepper. Preferably served with extra Fanø Ham from Slagter Christiansen. When time permits, you can also order our pizza for Take Away.

Adjacent to Axel's Kitchen is a large indoor playland, making dinner with us always a hit for the children. They won't get bored while mom and dad enjoy a bottle of wine.
Free entry from 5:00 PM for the restaurant's young guests.

We serve homemade Italian pizzas, try for example our popular Prosciutto di Fanø, with Fanø Ham, cherry tomatoes, freshly shaved Grana and arugula.

The smell of freshly baked bread is mouth watering for most of us. 

We can deliver freshly baked bread and Danish pastry for our guest at Rødgaard Camping own bake-off. 

By pre-ordering you can enjoy breakfast in the restaurant or you can come and collect freshly baked rolls and news. 

 

During the highseason, we in the bakery will offer breakfast in the restaurant between 8 & 10, with a pre-order made latest at 18.00 the previous day. 

Furthermore the bakery offers delights such as Fanø Honey, coffee & tea, as well as other dairy products.
